My Rabbit/Small Pet
We love to meet your small furry friends - we see ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus, chipmunks, rats, hamsters, gerbils and mice. We also see cagebirds and, increasingly, domestic poultry. Modern veterinary medicine allows us to treat many conditions these pets can suffer from.
Rabbit Package
Your rabbit’s first visit to us is about so much more than just their vaccination. We believe your new pet deserves the highest standards of care from the beginning, and our Rabbit Package is designed to give your new friend the best start in life.
For only £70.00 our package includes:
- Vaccination against Myxomatosis, RHD1 & RHD2 to protect your pet
- Free Full Health Examination by a fully-qualified Veterinary Surgeon
- Free Advice - our team are here to answer your questions and concerns
- 4 weeks’ free Pet Insurance from Petplan
- Free Rabbit Pack containing Rabbit healthcare advice, leaflets and vouchers
- Free Nurse Clinics to guide and advise you as your new friend grows
Rabbit Booster Vaccination
Unfortunately, vaccination does not offer a lifetime of protection, and a yearly booster is required to keep your pet safe against the distressing and potentially life-threatening diseases of Myxomatosis and RHD1 AND RHD2 (Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease). We are now able to offer vaccination against all of these conditions with a single injection yearly. All rabbit vaccinations are carried out by one of our fully-qualified, experienced Veterinary Surgeons. They will perform a free full health examination of your pet and answer any queries or concerns you may have.
Microchipping
We advise that you consider microchipping your rabbit, as recommended by RSPCA and other major animal welfare organisations. Microchipping greatly increases the chances of you and your pet being reunited should they be lost or stolen. For more information visit: www.virbac.co.uk/home/backhome/pet-owner.html and watch our offers page for regular microchip promotions.
Parasites
We offer a variety of safe, effective products to meet your needs in protecting your pet and family against parasites. Our fully-qualified Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses are able to advise you on these products, and can administer them if you wish.
Neutering
We recommend your rabbit and some other small furries are neutered. Read our neutering leaflet to find out why.
